Shooting

Today we started shooting as Jess was doing Jon's make-up me, Amy, Sannah and Phil were re-doing the location shots as there were lost. this day we did the bases shots we needed of Jon walking out his house up the road est. With Sannah as the camera person n me the interviewer we shooted Jon walking up the road and Amy directing us. While asking Jon question is was pretty easy as it was flowing. While doing this i also did location shots, i also did risk assessments and location recce's for Jess's house as it was our aim location. 

Pitch

On Wednesday the group presented the pitch i as wasn't there due to family issues. This whole week i wasn't present at college yet again due to family issues.

We are still looking for a actor, from sending our posters out we have had 2 people come forward and we having a meeting with him in Friday. We have all done some more research on short films and today Phil brought some in for us to watch.we have had our questionnaires back and me and Sannah sat together and counted up the results we did this so everyone in the group can analyse individually and to discuss in our treatments. Jess has story boarding some basics shots we could use in our production. We have all been doing some planning on our own as well. 

We have also started talking about what is needed for our pitch. we wrote some ideas of what we can add in our pitch. while Jess wrote on the broad me, Sannah and Phil gave ideas of what we could talk about in our pitch.  

Poster

As the weeks are going on we thought we would start looking for our actor . So we started to do some research  on where we could find a good actor.We thought we would make a poster and hand them out we different theaters and drama clubs est.

in our poster there was

• slim build
• must be willing to wear stage makeup

2nd production meeting

 We talked about what we had done in the previous week just gone. This week we had accomplished everything  we said we will.. 

• -Researching documentaries
• -Looking for our potential lead roles
• -Collection on money (for props)
• -introduction to zombie styled makeup

In this meeting we also stared talking about our script. we talked about the structure of it and the styl. of which it will written in. We also talk a little about locations. 

Questionnaires

The next step was to find our audience. We did this by making questionnaires and asking them questions such as:- 


-if they read newspapers
-if they watch documentaries
-favorite genres of films  
-their interests and hobbies


After created our questionnaires we printed 50 and handed them out by doing this we  have found our audience  and they range from 16 to 25. From our results we will be  analysing them  and making graphs from our findings. 

Research on documentaries

After deciding we are producing a documentary, our first task set by our Chairperson that day Sannah, was to research the conventions off what documentaries and short films. On the weekend I found some documentaries on 4oD like ‘Katie- my beautiful face’ this was about a girl who had acid thrown on her face and how she lives with it now, and also the girl with two heads. I found that most doc’s started with voice over’s and a little introduction to what it’s about and they also state the statistics. By watching these we could consider using some of these techniques.

 couple minutes into these documentaries we see interviews scenes with family doctors est. we have deiced we will also be having interview scenes in our short documentary film.
